David received his BBA from Southern Arkansas University (SAU); MBA from the University Of Mississippi; DBA from Louisiana Tech University. 

David has been a Finance professor at SAU since 1992.  He obtained his CPA certificate in 1978, his CFP designation in 1997 and pioneered the first financial planning program in the state at SAU.  He has served on numerous committees of the CFP® Board of Standards in Denver. He is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) and the Arkansas State Board of Public Accountancy.
